Muir Woods National Monument is located at 1 Muir Woods Rd, Mill Valley, CA 94941-4205. You can type it on your google map. This park is amazing with giant trees, longest on the earth. Parking should be booked in advance. We paid parking ($8) online for 9:00 -9:30 time slot. Check online ahead of time for schedule and prices otherwise parking may not be available.
This unique area is clean, safe and beautiful with amenities and a mix of paved and dirt trails lined by giant redwoods and meandering streams. The trails are well marked and maintained. We did the hike and were exhausted at the end, but loved every minute of it. Don’t forget to carry water, and snacks. Once you get started, there is nowhere to get hydrated. Hikes rage from easy to slightly more difficult. By the time we were done hiking the coffee shop and gift shop (not too big) are filled with people. It's truly a sight to behold to see these amazing trees. It's worth the trip!
