For us who came from UAE, experiencing a real snow. Will be a top most on our bucket list. It was early December when we visited Lake Tahoe, USA with my family.
Most beautiful lake I have ever seen. Surrounded by a mountain range this lake has it all crystal clear water, amazing views from above and excellent hikes to get to the top of some peaks. The lake area is studded with hotels competing for the attention of visitors. It was a winter wonderland that we saw, a means of communing with nature's majestic beauty. We took a nice drive around the lake. Emerald Bay is beautiful. However, some stretches of the roads are narrow with no barriers on the side so drivers need to be careful. We were liked driving a whole circle around the lake and stopping to take pictures. In some places you are right along the water. In others you are up high looking down. The area has a good mix of outdoor activities plus urban entertainment like shopping and casinos (for those who want). The snow was not that thick yet, but it’s enough for us to spend skiing.
The views from every angle are GORGEOUS ... mountains and trees everywhere and snow capped mountains. I would not have missed it for the world.
